Two hundred paintings and five hundred drawings — the largest collection anywhere of a man who sold almost nothing in his lifetime. The route runs chronologically, from the brown peasants of The Potato Eaters to the blazing Sunflowers and the wheatfields of his final months, with letters to his brother Theo hung beside the canvases. You come out feeling you have met someone rather than seen pictures.
