Terms of Service — Locaria

1Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Locaria you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2The service

Locaria is an experimental, free project that lets you explore places, save a wishlist, track visits and organize routes. The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of continuous availability, and may be changed or suspended at any time.

3User account

To use some features you must register an account providing truthful data. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out through your account. You must be at least 14 years old to register.

4User-generated content

The content you upload (photos, reviews, routes, suggestions) remains yours. By uploading it you grant Locaria a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and make it available within the service. You are responsible for what you publish and you warrant that you hold the rights and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. Content marked as public may be seen by other users.

5Acceptable use

You agree not to use Locaria for unlawful purposes, not to upload offensive, misleading or rights-infringing content, not to attempt to compromise the platform's security, and not to perform unauthorized scraping or automated use of the data.

6Intellectual property

The software, the Locaria trademark, the design and the app's original content are protected and remain the property of their respective owners. Geographic catalog data may derive from open sources, cited where required.

7Limitation of liability

Locaria does not guarantee the accuracy of geographic data, routes or navigation directions. GPS and tracking features are provided as an aid: use them with caution and in compliance with safety rules. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

8Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from the profile settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

9Premium, contributions and codes

Locaria's Premium features are earned by contributing to the catalogue (approved contributions) or by redeeming gift codes. Premium days and codes are a non-monetary benefit: they have no cash value, are not convertible, transferable or refundable, and may be revoked (for example if a contribution is later removed). They are not a payment, nor a prize awarded by draw or chance.

10Donations

Any donations (e.g. via the support buttons) are free and voluntary, given as a liberality and with no consideration: they do not grant features, advantages or additional content, and are non-refundable.

11Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms: relevant changes will be indicated by the update date. These Terms are governed by Italian law.
