Five Russian onion domes planted on Toompea hill, directly facing the Estonian parliament โ a political gesture by the Tsarist empire in 1900 that Estonians have more than once considered pulling down. Inside are gilded mosaics, an iconostasis and an Orthodox choir singing unaccompanied. The clash with the Lutheran city around it is the whole point.
