The 74-metre tower visible from every corner of Reykjavík, its front stepping down in concrete tiers modelled on Iceland's basalt columns. The interior is almost bare, dominated by an organ of more than five thousand pipes. A lift takes you to the top, above the coloured roofs and the bay.
