Thirty-two hectares that open for just eight weeks, mid-March to mid-May, planted each autumn with seven million bulbs timed to flower together. Paths wind between tulips, daffodils and hyacinths laid out in waves of colour, past themed glasshouses and a windmill overlooking the bulb fields beyond. Out of season there is nothing here at all — check the dates before you plan around it.
