A sixty-metre main drop and below it a staircase of turquoise travertine pools, one after another, open for swimming. The water is that colour because it is saturated with limestone — the same limestone still building the rims of the pools. A forest path reaches the top of the fall in twenty minutes, and by the entrance a sanctuary takes in sun bears seized from poachers.
