A white Doric temple at the west end of the National Mall, with Abraham Lincoln seated in marble nineteen feet high, gazing down the Reflecting Pool towards the Capitol. The Gettysburg Address and the Second Inaugural are carved on the side walls. From the steps where Martin Luther King said 'I have a dream' you get the most famous view in Washington.
