The principality's only ski resort, in a bowl at 1,600 metres ringed by mountains, with a handful of lifts, twenty kilometres of piste and a ski school where the British royal family once learned. In summer the chairlifts serve trails up to Sareis and the ridge on the Austrian border, and there is a bird-of-prey centre. It is small and unpretentious — people come for the quiet, not the scene.
