Scandinavia's largest Gothic cathedral, raised over the tomb of St Olav and the finishing line of the pilgrim route across Norway. Its west front is a wall of soapstone figures; inside, the rose window floods the nave with blue on clear afternoons. Norwegian monarchs are still consecrated here.
