Becherovka
A Czech herbal bitter from Karlovy Vary, based on herbs and spices with a dominant aroma of cinnamon and anise. Created in 1807 by the pharmacist Josef Becher as a digestive remedy, it's drunk ice-cold after a meal or in the "beton" cocktail with tonic.
