Philly cheesesteak

A long Philadelphia sandwich with thinly sliced beef cooked on the griddle with onions and covered in melted cheese — provolone or the dreaded canned Cheez Whiz. Invented in 1930 by Pat Olivieri, a hot dog vendor.
